Fiber optik kabloya enjekte edilen ışık kablonun kusurlu olduğu noktalarda , kablo kıvrımlarında dışarı sızar. Sürekli yada flash mod olmak üzere 2 farklı modda ışık verir. Çıkış güçleri 10mw ila 30mw arasındadır. Çıkış gücü ne kadar yüksek olursa test edilebilecek kablo mesafeside artar.
